Fantastic illustrations as usual and way to go on working that brain in another language. Kudos on taking a vacation too Caroline, sounds like it's a good time for you to take it easy. Hope your knee is doing better!

Hi Caroline! Sorry I've been so absent, but I've been busy with things around my studies. I loved you pictures and sketch of your house and making your way from the car. It sounds like you live in a wonderful place, and even if old houses have their quirks, it gives a lot to live in one. Something I miss at times is actually how not very perfect things are.

Enjoy your time off, I'm waiting for your return.

Caroline: I was trying to be a "smartie" and went to Babelfish with the sentence ..."I hope you paint many pictures and read lots of books". They gave me the translation into Spanish that you see above.
For the fun of it I did a backward translation (from Spanish to English)and what it actually says is: "It will need and hope that you paint many of pictures as well as many read of books." !! So much for being a smart-ass. At least they got the last two words correct...."Hugs, Ginnie"
